If you work for or have a contractual relationship with the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna, you can use the university’s whistleblowing system to report concerns about suspected wrongdoing in the following areas:
- Procurement and funding
- Financial services, money laundering and financing for terrorism
- Consumer protection
- Public health
- Data protection, and network and information system security
- Corruption and bribery (sections 302-309 Austrian Strafgesetzbuch [Austrian Criminal Code])
- Environmental protection, animal protection, food safety, radiation protection and road safety
- Product safety
Please note that reports on other topics, including discrimination, bullying, sexual harassment in the workplace or plagiarism, cannot be accepted through this channel.

What you can do to protect yourself
- You are not on the corporate network (Internet/VPN).
- You should not use a device (smartphone, computer, etc) that is provided by your employer.
- You should not use the kinds of idioms or abbreviations that you frequently use in conversations or when writing emails.
